Lucy Netherwood, Bach Physiotherapy with Distinction, University of Newcastle. Lucy completed her Higher School Certificate in her hometown Broken Hill, Far West NSW. She was DUX of her high school and got accepted into Undergraduate Physiotherapy Program at the University of Newcastle.
She graduated with distinction in 2011. She completed her graduate year working for Barwon Health in Geelong. After doing some overseas travel, she returned to Broken Hill to do a rural stint in her hometown.
She gained a position as Senior Sub-Acute Rehabilitation Physiotherapist at the local hospital. This role included setting up hospital in the home, and establishing a brand new sub-acute rehabilitation unit for the local community. Lucy then worked in Private Practice in BH, and did multiple further studies to improve her musculoskeletal qualifications and skills, including Clinical Pilates, Dry Needling and Cupping, AB’s a Graduate Diploma in Manipulative Therapies on Chang Mai Thailand.
She relocated to Noosa in 2014, where she began working for Wayne Rogers (international physio lecturer) at Sunshine Beach. She then started her own physio practice in combination with gaining employment as Group Fitness Manager at a local gym in Noosa, where she continues to work. Lucy now runs her own physio business from home. Located in the beautiful Noosa River- a serene environment with easy and convenient parking and access.
Lucy prides herself on being a holistic therapist, offering clients a range of modalities to treat many conditions. She offers advice on lifestyle, exercise, diet, and supplements to assist in recovery from injury and illness. Lucy offers a comprehensive assessment, treatment, and management plan from the very initial session.
